What is an Access2Health Smart Pod™?

A Smart Pod™ is a mobile clinic containing innovative technology that allows healthcare professionals to treat patients with a severe common cold all the way to a highly infectious disease without risk of additional spread. The Smart Pods™ are also unique in their ability to fold up and be moved to other locations as needed via truck or even helicopter. Smart Pods™ were designed and trademarked by Baylor College of Medicine with the help of NASA engineers.

How much does it cost to visit an Access2Health Smart Pod™?

Everything is free and it’s open to all residents. There are no insurance or citizen checks. The goal of these Access2Health Smart Pods™ is to provide residents a means to visit a doctor, and to feel safe and secure when doing so.

Visit one of our two locations:

  • East Harris County Activity Center - 7340 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX 77505, 832-927-4006

What are the hours of operation? 

  •  Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • North East Community Center Pod is Closed Tuesdays
  • East Harris County Activity Center Pod is Closed Wednesdays
