1. How do I reserve a Precinct 2 facility?

All facilities that are available for rent within our parks system can be viewed at the Harris County Precinct 2 catalog. You’ll be able to view costs, availability, and complete an online reservation request for the facility of your choice. You can also reach the Reservation Department by calling 713-274-2222.

2. Are there entry fees for Precinct 2 parks?

All Precinct 2 parks are open to the general public without entry fees. Please note, some park services and rentals may require additional fees.

3. How many parks are in the Harris County Precinct 2 system?

Currently, Precinct 2 has 52 parks within its system. This park system offers exciting amenities for kids, avid fishers, boat owners, fitness enthusiasts, nature lovers, and more!

1. Are there entry fees for Precinct 2 parks?

3. Are pets allowed in the parks?

Yes, pets are allowed if they are on a leash. Off-leash dog parks are featured at Bay Area Park and Partnership Park.

4. Who do I contact to report maintenance problems?

To report maintenance issues, please call 713-274-7275 during business hours which are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 3:30 pm. For after-hours and weekend reports, call 713-274-2222.

1. Are your parks pet friendly?

Yes, our parks are pet-friendly, but they must be kept on a leash at all times unless it is a specified dog park.

2. Can I take my pet to the splash pads?

For the safety of our fur friends and equipment, pets are not permitted on the splash pads.

3. Is the Ferry open?

Lynchburg Ferry updates are posted in real-time on the Harris County Toll Road Authority website and the official Lynchburg Ferry Facebook page. Please visit those sites for the latest update.

4. How can I submit a service request?

You can submit service requests by calling our Community Assistance Line at 713-455-8104 during normal business hours. For assistance after hours, please call us at 713-455-0062. You can also submit a service request online.

5. Are you closed for the holiday?

6. How can I make a reservation at one of your parks?

To reserve a space at one of our parks, please call 713-274-7275 (PARK) during normal operating hours.

8. Is the Tunnel open?

Washburn Tunnel updates are posted in real-time on the official Washburn Tunnel Facebook Page. Unless otherwise noted, the Tunnel is open 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Please note, the Tunnel is closed for routine cleaning and maintenance on the following days and times:

• Every Thursday midnight  to 4 am on Friday
• The second Saturday of each month from 10 pm to 10 am on Sunday

9. When do you open splash pads?

Our splash pads are open from April to October of each year. During the season, splash pads may close temporarily for maintenance or inclement weather.
