This unique 10-acre park, located near the Port of Houston Turning Basin, features wetland ponds, a half-mile jogging trail, native plantings such as sycamore and live oak trees, an overlook shelter, interpretive signage, bench seating, and more. Offering passive recreation and wildlife conservation, the site serves as a beautiful eastern trailhead that will connect more than 20 acres of open space along Buffalo Bayou's ever-expanding greenway.
Formerly an abandoned industrial property, Precinct 2 joined with non-profit organization Buffalo Bayou Partnership to transform the location into a greenspace for nature lovers to enjoy and learn all that Buffalo Bayou has to offer.
